Sichuanese Man Tries to Fly to Nepal on Foreign Passport, Gets Caught
Jun 10, 2014 By eChinacities.com

A man attempting to fly to Nepal from Chengdu with the wrong passport was caught red handed passing through Chinese immigration. The man was holding a foreign passport, and looked fairly similar to the picture.

However, when the immigration officers attempted to speak English to him, he clammed up and got nervous. He was detained and the officers conducted further interrogation which revealed that the man was in fact from Chengdu and he had obtained the passport under false pretences.

Exactly where and how he obtained the passport is currently being investigated.
