Shenzhen is the healthiest city in China in regards to the city’s green levels, according to a paper on ecological cities released by The Research Center for Social Development of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. Guangzhou was rewarded the second spot, while neighboring Zhuhai landed seventh on the list. Beijing, despite its abysmal air quality record, was tenth on the list.
