City authorities have increased the capacity for the Shenzhen Marathon to 15,000, 5,000 more than the previous year.
The event, to take place on December 7 this year, will include 3,000 full marathon runners, 4,000 half marathon runners and 8,000 6 km runners.
The top eight marathon runners from the women’s and men’s division will be awarded 142,000 USD.
