Shenzhen Driver’s License Exam Waiting List Surpasses 600,000 People
Oct 21, 2014 By eChinacities.com

At the moment, more than 1,000 people in Shenzhen are still waiting to take the driver’s license test three years after signing up for it. In total, this means that there are 600,000 people waiting to take the test.

Authorities have suggested that the lack of driving schools may be too blame, but that they are currently drawing up measures to speed up the process. Priority will be given to those who have been studying for nearly three years.

There are further complications, as if you haven’t passed the exam after three years of signing up to a driver’s school, you are required by law to sign up again. This means that you will have to join the waiting list again, from the very beginning.
