Shanghai United Family Hospital Opens Two New Hospitals, One New Clinic

Shanghai United Family Hospital celebrated their 10 year anniversary this week, and United Family Hospital announced that they will be opening two new hospitals in Pudong and in Puxi, as well as a new clinic in Jing’an District.

United Family Hospital is international accredited, and can use direct billing with more than 40 global health insurance companies. The first United Family Hospital was opened in Shanghai in 2004, and became accredited with many internationally renowned insurance companies in 2008.

Data shows that 75% of patients at Shanghai United Family Hospital have been foreign. With regards to women and children, 50% of these were Chinese. 80% of the hospitals patients had international health insurance companies to pay their fees – showing that quality is more important than price.
