Today, the Shanghai Municipal Government had 350 taxis crushed after discovering that they were not legitimate taxis. This year between January and July, Shanghai has already registered 366 fake cars.
The municipal government would like to post a reminder; if a taxi cannot provide a receipt or take your transportation card as payment, they are most likely a fake taxi, and reminded citizens that if they encounter fake taxis, to please call the alarm number 110 to prevent loss of property and bodily harm.
