Shanghai Pudong Airport is implementing new self check-in systems at Terminal 1 in the B check-in area.
From now on, if you are checking into a China Eastern Airways domestic flight, or a Shanghai Airlines domestic flight, you will be able to use a machine to choose your seats, print your boarding pass, and get a label for your check-in luggage and send it through to the security check.
Overweight luggage or unusual objects will still have to be checked in at the counter.
