Oct 27, 2015 By eChinacities.com

In 2015 alone, China lost an estimated $60 billion (about 381 billion Yuan) to cybercrime, according to Allianz Group. This is the highest amount lost in Asia (beating India by 15 fold), and second in the world.

Cybercrime cost the global economy nearly $445 billion annually. 50% of cybercrime occurs in the world’s 10 largest economies.

Concerns include corporate data leakage, intellectual property theft, network attacks, and defamation, as well as blocks that can cause service interruptions.
