Tibetan cultural artifacts, returned to China from overseas collectors, will be on public display at the Tibetan Museum until September 25. The exhibition features 101 sacred relics, including 39 statues, 39 Buddhist Talisman and 23 Thang-ga paintings. These items came mostly from collectors and museums in the United Kingdom, the United States and India. The earliest of the items date all the way back to the 500 CE. Highlights of the exhibit include the Four-armed Gwan Yin (Avalokiteshvara), the Amitayus Buddha and the Sakyamuni Thang-ga.
