The Qingdao Lantern Festival will be held at the Olympic Sailing Center from Feb 10 to 25. There will be over 100 different groups of lanterns as well as traditional folk dances and stilt performances. On February 14, there will also be a special “kissing competition” to commemorate Valentine’s Day. For hungry visitors, the festival will also feature many stands selling famous Chinese snacks from all over the country.
