Kudos to this guy for his perseverance – on March 17 Polish cyclist Krystian Herba scaled Shanghai’s World Financial Center in a stunt breaking the Guinness World Record he previously set. Starting the ascent at 11:00, Herba took roughly 80 minutes to “hop” up the building’s 100 floors (2,754 steps) on his bike, smashing his previous record of 82 floors (2,052 steps) at Dubai’s Rose Rayhaan by Rotana Hotel. During the attempt, Herba’s challenge was made tougher by the fact he was not allowed to use his hands or feet for support. Herba has said that he will submit the video footage of the record attempt to the good people at Guinness. He should get his new Guinness World Record Certificate by end of the month.
