Pawful TV: Dogs on China’s First Animal Dating Show

Pawful TV: Dogs on China’s First Animal Dating Show
Sep 15, 2014 By eChinacities.com

Pup-ular TV channel Jiangsu TV is back with a new show following dating show Fei Cheng Wu Rao’s success: Fei Chong Wu Rao, a clever pun on the original dating show.

The owners take the show very seriously, dressing their dogs up and having them show their tricks in order to impress a dog of the opposite sex (or their owner, more likely). The TV show even takes a look at their home and family life, in order to ensure the best possible match is made.

You can watch the TV show, which has instantly become popular, online. So far we have just seen dogs as participants, who are brought onto the stage with their owners. We are unsure about whether or not the show will start accepting other pets as contestants in the future.
