Pasadena’s East West Bank has opened a branch in Shenzhen, making it the first Los Angeles bank with a branch there.
It was opened on Tuesday, and the ceremony was attended by Los Angeles’ Maor Eric Garcetti.
East West Bank also has branches in Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Shantou. There are also representative offices in Beijing, Chongqing, Guangzhou, Taipei and Xiamen.
