Northeast China on Yellow Alert for Snow and Blizzards
Dec 01, 2014 By eChinacities.com

Throughout most of the country, the weather has taken a chilly turn this week. However, weather conditions in China’s Northeast have led to a yellow alert being issued. Yellow is the second level of warning in China’s four-tiered system; blue, yellow, orange and red as the most severe.

The region is expecting heavy snow and blizzards throughout parts of Heilongjiang, Jilin and Liaoning. The National Meteorological Center has advised residents to stay inside as much as possible and has warned authorities to be prepared.
