On the evening of November 1, authorities in Zhengzhou raided the “Huangjia Yihao” nightclub in Zhengzhou on suspicion of prostitution.

Over a thousand police officers were seen surrounding the building and apart from cleaners and security guards, nearly every person inside the club was taken away in 10 large buses.

The club’s website www.hjyh666.com was shut down at 14:00 on November 3, but the site previously claimed that it was the largest nightclub in central China with 156 private rooms. The club has been open since 2012.

The case is currently under investigation.
