New Vintage Bus Tours in Beijing
Sep 29, 2014 By eChinacities.com

Twelve vintage buses started service yesterday morning, taking visitors to Beijing on an historic tour through the city. The buses follow a 15 kilometer route passing over 20 famous sites, including the Temple of Heaven, the Tian’anmen Square, and the Forbidden City.

The buses run between 08:00 and 17:00 and cost 10 RMB for a single trip and 15 RMB for the day.

The buses are modeled after the old trams that you can see around Qianmen, which were discontinued in 1966, and the drivers are dressed in 1920’s style uniforms to add to the nostalgia. The buses are also equipped with Wi-Fi and air purifiers.
