Apr 01, 2014 By eChinacities.com

London’s high end Chinese food outfit, Hakkasan formally opened its doors on the Bund on March 28. The opening of the Shanghai location marks the 12th Hakkasan to open worldwide, and will be China’s first Hakkasan restaurant.

Keeping in line with London’s contemporary culinary culture, Hakkasan presents a unique and original interpretation of traditional Cantonese cuisine. Hakkasan’s signature dishes such as Beijing roast duck with caviar and jasmine tea flavoured Kobe beef led to Hakkasan being awarded a Michelin star within two years of opening.
