New Hospital Smart Phone App Makes Going to the Hospital More Convenient

Shanghai medical authorities have come up with a new way to avoid the bureaucratic nightmare that is going to the hospital in China.

Using new apps and a Wechat platform, patients can make appointments, register for the hospital and check their place electronically while waiting in line. They can also pay bills and access their test results on their cell phones.

This is great news for anyone using Shanghai’s overcrowded public hospital system. As well as saving everyone time and effort, medical staff says that the risk of infection is reduced with fewer people in the waiting rooms.

Information on how to sign up and use the apps is available at all public hospitals.
