The National Development and Reform Committee has announced that prices for railway tickets, will be raised at the end of the year, and that high-speed train ticket prices will be decided by means of a floating system.
Data shows that the prices haven’t increased in years. The increase was inevitable with the increase in liabilities, but the price increase won’t be drastic. China Railway Corporation’s liabilities totaled 3.53 trillion RMB.
