Most Returning Overseas Chinese Students Only Make About 3,000 RMB

According to the recently released “2011 Employment Survey for Returning Overseas Students”, 70% of overseas Chinese students are now more willing to return and work in China. But not all of them are finding high paying jobs: 58% have an average monthly salary of 3,000 RMB and work as ordinary employees, while only 15% find high-paying jobs (over 10,000 RMB). Also of note, 46% of returned Chinese students are working for private enterprises.

Who makes big money when they first leave university? University is not the lottery you still need to gain experience in your area no matter what country you come from.
