Cities in China's Turim Basin (south Xinjiang), Turpan Depression (central Xinjiang), Junggar Basin (eastern Xianjing), central Sichuan, eastern and northern Chongqing, southern Yellow River, regions around the Yangtze River, Jianghan (in Wuhan), Jiangnan, and eastern parts of South China will all experience weather over 35ºC today.
The Turpan Depression will experience the highest temperatures, up to 40-42ºC. Parts of the Tupan Basin, southern central Sichuan, central and southern Anhui, southern Jiangsu, Shanghai, Zhejiang, northern Fujian, Jiangxi, and northern Junggar Basin will experience temperatures from 37-39ºC.
The Central Meteorological Observatory has issued a high yellow warning for the affected areas.
