Ladies in Tang Dynasty Costume give out Candy on Chengdu Buses

Several women dressed as Wu Zetian, China’s only ruling empress and the subject of the now notorious ‘Empress of China’ TV show have hit up buses in Chengdu.

The women handed out candy on buses and in the street in Chengdu’s Chunxi Lu on January 23. The purpose of the publicity stunt wasn’t too clear as many reports ignored this detail and instead focused on creepily describing the ‘soft bosoms’ of the women.

‘Empress of China’ disappeared from China’s screens last month only to reappear with all wide angle shots of revealing costumes edited down into close-ups.

The SAARFT spoke up about the issue this week, saying that the edits were ‘unhealthy for minors’.

One of china's many announcements to the world --- we lie just about anything for face and money. (Ask any non mainland chinese history scholar how the majority of Tang dynasty ladies ie hookers excluded dress). Looking at china, it is likely that Tang dynasty hookers teamed up with hookers of all other dynasties reincarnated back to their old habitat. Same manners and behaviors, same lust for money; talking about old habits die hard. LOL
