Shanghai’s Jingan District is planning a traffic system that allows people to exercise safely. During the exercise ‘rush hours’ of 11:30-13:30 and 19:00-21:00, there will be special measures put into place to prioritize runners’ right of way by imposing speed limits and restricting access to vehicles.

There are three circular routes being planned, in Nanjing Xi Lu, Changping Lu and Julu Lu and have been specifically chosen for their proximity to offices.
