Heavy fog has covered much of Shandong Province over the past few days, leading to severe air pollution. According to air quality data published, of the 15 monitoring sites across the province, 14 are reporting “serious pollution” (the monitoring site in Paomaling is only reporting “heavy pollution”). Coming out on top, with a 390+ on the Air Quality Index, is the provincial capital, Jinan.
