Get ready to rock your socks off around Gulou this weekend as Sound of the Xity is back! The four day event kicks off on Thursday and will continue through to Sunday night.
This annual festival gathers the hottest artists and best new talent on the Beijing music scene, mixes them with international artists and puts them all together in a weekend long extravaganza.
One and two day passes are available and they will allow you to bar hop around the Gulou and Llama temple area from one gig to another. The festival is designed to showcase every aspect of the Beijing music scene, so there’s something for everyone, from folk from Hanggai and Shanren, to France’s DJ Oshi, Nova Heart, reggae from Longshendao and everything in between.
