Founder and editor in chief of the Huffington Post, Arianna Huffington announced two days ago that the online newspaper plans to expand to China this year.

“We are working with a lot of Chinese potential partners. We plan to cover lifestyle and entertainment content in the Chinese market. We will not cover news in China,” said Huffington in an interview.

Arianna Huffington recently participated in Alibaba's Global Conference of Women Entrepreneurs in Hangzhou.

The Huffington Post has already expanded to 13 different countries. The website was founded in 2005, and is one of the most influential news blogs in the United States. The site publishes about 1,500 news pieces every day. Arianna Huffington was included in Time magazine's list of 100 Most Influential People in 2006.

I don't suppose they would report something like this then? "France’s luxury goods maker Kering SA is taking China’‘s internet mega-bazaar Alibaba to court in New York, alleging the online store is chock-a-block with fake Gucci or Yves St Laurent knockoffs.....The complaint says Alibaba even engineered algorithms to offer customers fakes when searching for items. http://www.euronews.com/2015/05/18/alibaba-fakes-case-chinese-internet-giant-sued-in-ny/
