Hubei Man Hangs onto Car Roof for 24km after Driving Dispute
May 21, 2014 By eChinacities.com

A man in Xiaogan, Hubei Province leapt onto the roof of a car and clung on whilst the car drove 24 km between cities. Photos of the incident taken May 12 show the man spread eagled on top of the moving vehicle. The female driver looks amazingly nonplussed by the situation and can be seen talking on her phone as she drives along.

The car was in fact a taxi, and the driver and the man got into a dispute ‘over customers’ according to the Hubei News. Further details such as the speed of the vehicle, or how the man finally got home weren’t revealed, but an image of the man grimly clinging on whilst the car made its way down Highway 316 attracted a lot of attention when it surfaced online.

People, even Chinese people, should not talk on the phone while driving.
