Foreign experts working in the Hongqiao business zone can now receive long term residency permits of three-four years. This will save them the hassle of renewing their visas every year.
Foreign experts will also receive medical and educational benefits for their children, as well as assistance in renting and purchasing property.
The local government is also planning to build several new International schools to encourage foreign talent to move to the area.
