Hong Kong Publishes Framework for 2017 Chief Executive Election
Apr 26, 2015 By eChinacities.com

On April 22, the Hong Kong Government published a plan for its 2017 election titled “Method for Selecting the Chief Executive by Universal Suffrage.” The proposed plan states that the Nomination Committee will consist of 1,200 people in four sectors and 38 subsectors. The 38 subsectors will remain the same as before, and grouping methods for constituencies will also remain the same.

The Nomination Committee will recommend a certain number of candidates to be put up for public vote. Each member of the committee can only recommend one candidate. Then the Nomination Committee will narrow the number of candidates down through a secret ballot.

Then, there will be a “one-person-one-vote,” election with 5 million eligible voters to elect the Chief Executive. Finally, the winner will be officially appointed by the Central People's Government.

We don't have to vote for the lesser of 2 evils in America. We actually have many choices to choose from. We're just too stupid to and gullible to cast our vote for someone outside of the main 2 parties. An American would actually know that. But then again there are plenty of brain dead Americans.
