Hainan’s Tax Policy Relaxed; Shopping Limit Raised to 8,000 RMB

The Ministry of Finance recently announced adjustments to Hainan Island’s unique tax policy. Among the changes approved are the expansion of “duty-free” to include 21 types of goods and a raised tax-free shopping limit to 8,000 RMB per person per trip.
