Guangzhou will be holding it’s annual Guangzhou International Dragon Boat Invitational Tournament on June 7, 2014, on the stretch of the Pearl River between Guangzhou Bridge and Haiyin Bridge.
A total of 100 teams made up of both male and female participants will be competing in the centuries old traditional tournament, in four different categories. The festivities will be going on all day, with the first race starting at 10:30. The final contests and awards ceremony should finish around 16:30.
Be sure to get there early to snag a good spot, as it tends to get very crowded.
