Guangzhou tourism has continued to boom since Forbes published its list of Top Ten Developed Cities for Tourism in mainland China last year, with a 6.73 percent increase in visitors in 2014 so far.
Beijing was ranked 1st, with Shanghai following at a close 2nd. Guangzhou has received 69 million visits from tourists this year, with an enormous 15 percent increase in tourism generated revenue.
