A Guangzhou police officer and a civilian suffered gunshot wounds after a shootout with a suspected drug dealer in Haizhu District on September 16, reported the Nanfang.
The suspect, who was described as a “white powder auntie”, was apparently taking drugs with a group of people near Nantian Road when police attempted an arrest. The situation soon turned into a shootout, with a policeman suffering two gunshot wounds to the abdomen.
