Guangzhou Metro Extends Holiday Service Hours

Guangzhou Metro has announced extended holiday services October 1-3. The last train on all lines will depart one hour later than usual, and standby passenger trains will be ready in the case of sudden rushes.

Authorities have estimated that October 1 will be the busiest day, expecting large levels of congestion throughout the city. Meanwhile the APM Line will be permanently extending it’s service hours by half an hour, from October 4.
