Guangzhou Gets Very Own Public Bathroom App

Guangzhou Gets Very Own Public Bathroom App
May 15, 2014 By eChinacities.com

Guangzhou’s local chengguan teams have come up with a solution to the city’s public urination problem, in the form of a bathroom locator app. They proudly announced it via their weibo account this week.

The app works by tracking your location via your phone’s GPS and then pointing out the nearest public bathrooms on a handy map. A QR code for the app can be found here.

We’ll have to wait and see whether the app will have any impact on Guangzhou’s alfresco urinators, or people will continue to go about their business as usual
