According to research done in Guangzhou, Guangdong’s Pet Groomers are sparse. Right now, in the entire industry, only 15% of them are trained professionals.

The research also shows that 75% of pet groomers’ wages are higher than the average 2500 RMB white collar job wages – and 14% of pet beauticians even make more than 5000 RMB a month.

This isn’t really a surprise, considering the love that people in China have for their pets. Those who want to sign their dog up for a dating show need professional groomers for their pets to ensure they look their best!
