Giant Horse-Dragon Stars in ‘Longma’ Show in Beijing on October 17-19

On October 17, the giant horse-dragon, created by French artist Francois Delarozière in order to celebrate 50 years of diplomatic ties between France and China, will go on show in Beijing. It will play the hero of the show “Longma”, starring the horse-dragon, fireworks, and a band performance.

The creation has a dragon’s head and a horse’s body, weighs 47 tonnes, is 17 meters long, 16 meters wide, and will play the lead alongside other characters, including a spider weighing 37 tonnes that is 5.7 meters high and 6 meters wide.

The show is free and will happen a few times a day until October 19.
