From September 12 until September 14, the Forbidden City will test a half day ticket, priced at 30 yuan, valid only after 14:00. The ticket does not include entry to any of the halls. Another new option as part of the trial is a ticket for the entire day, also not including the halls, for 60 yuan.
(For your information: The Forbidden City has 8 halls: the ceramic pavilion, the treasure hall, the calligraphy hall, the pride hall, the opera hall, the time hall, the jade hall and the bronze hall).
