The Forbidden City will be extending its opening hours this summer in order to deal with increased visitor numbers over the holidays.
From July 5-August 24, the Museum will open at 08:00, half an hour earlier than the previous opening time. The closing time will remain the same, at 17:00, with last tickets and admission at 16:10.
The Forbidden City will, as usua, be closed on Mondays for maintenance.
