British Airways recently announced their discount fares for 2014. You can now fly from Chengdu to continental Europe and the United Kingdom for as little as 3,100 RMB. The discount will run from now until December 31, 2014.
The World Traveler ticket will cost 3,300 RMB and the World Traveler Plus ticket will cost 8,600 RMB. Tickets to Europe have rarely been this cheap, so if you were considering going home but had financial concerns, then worry no more.

Is this fare only one way? I searched the website and found returns for almost ¥7000.

3300 ticket - 4000 taxes? why dont they just advertise 1 yuan tickets and 7000 taxes?
