Fete de la Musique, or Beijing music day as it is also known, is a celebration of music that takes place all around the city. The festival takes place every June 21 on the summer solstice and brings music to bars all across from Tiananmen Square to Liangma Qiao.

This year will feature another phenomenal line up, with bands flying in from Europe especially for the event, alongside the crème de la crème of local talent, so you’ll be spoilt for choice.

The event is also completely free, so the only problem you’ll have is deciding who to see and where to see them. For locations and lineup, head to www.beijingmusicday.com
