Mar 11, 2009 By eChinacities.com

Taiyuan-Zhongwei (Yinchuan) railway which is under construction will open to traffic in 2010, which will greatly reduce the transportation time from Ningxia to Beijing and be conducive to the contacts of Ningxia with North China and Northeast China. While the southward and eastward express rails are subject to limitations. Therefore, Yinchuan-Qingyang-Xi’an railway is suggested. After completion, the transportation time from Yinchuan to Xi’an will be reduced to 3 hours from the current 16 hours.
