Veteran classical singer Sarah Brightman is set to perform at Hangzhou’s Huanglong Sports Center on June 25.
Brightman has had a glittering career since she debuted in 1972 when she was just 12 years old, eventually going on to win more than 180 gold and platinum sales awards in over 40 different countries worldwide and sell over 30 million records.
She performed at the 1992 Barcelona and 2008 Beijing Olympic opening ceremonies, being the first singer to perform at two separate Olympic events. And in 2015, Brightman is set to become the first ever singer to perform in space, when she joins a three-man crew to travel to the International Space Station.
