Django Unchained In Line for China Comeback after Re-Edit

Quentin Tarantino’s latest blockbuster Django Unchained, which was pulled from cinemas after being shown for only ten minutes on April 11, may be making a comeback to Chinese cinemas after receiving further editing from China’s censors.

There will be reportedly additional cuts to the film to make it suitable for Chinese audiences, despite bloodshed and nudity already being cut down for the initial screening. The film has become the latest Hollywood blockbuster to suffer the wrath of China’s censors, after recent releases Cloud Atlas and 007 flick Skyfall were also heavily cut.
