First Direct Train from Kunming to Shanghai Launched

On October 26, a direct train linking Kunming to Shanghai was launched. The train (K181, K182) travels a total distance of 2880km, passing through 24 stations in Yunnan, Guizhou, Guangxi and Zhejiang before arriving in Shanghai.

Train K182 departs from Kunming at 18:25 and arrives in Shanghai on the third day at 12:01. Meanwhile, the train back to Kunming, K181, departs from Shanghai at 15:57 and arrives at 10:25 in Kunming on the third day. At present, hard seat tickets cost 293.5 RMB and hard sleepers cost 544.5 RMB.
