China’s biggest budget airline, Shanghai Spring Airlines, is now offering direct flights from Wuhan to Osaka from July 18. This will be the first direct flight service to Japan from the provincial capital.
The Airbus A320 will be making the round trip every Tuesday, Thursday , Friday and Sunday. Flight number 9C8787 will depart from Wuhan at 11:15, arriving in Osaka at 15:50 local time. The return flight, 9C8788, will take off at 08:30 and arrive back in Wuhan at 11:00 local time.
The flight, in all, takes around three hours. To celebrate the new route, the airline is offering discount tickets from as low as 399 RMB.
