Did New Zealand Spy on Chinese Government Buildings in Auckland?
Apr 20, 2015 By eChinacities.com

On April 19, New Zealand's largest newspaper, “The Herald,” published an article that reported that Snowden's released documents from 2013 show that New Zealand spies and US government hackers plotted together to attempt to crack a data link between the Chinese Consulate and Chinese Visa Office in Auckland. Snowden released the documents before the plan was completed, so it is unknown whether or not the project was launched.

New Zealand Prime Minister John Key said in an interview with Radio New Zealand on April 20 that the allegations were “baseless,” and that New Zealand respected the privacy of the Chinese Consulate. Key stressed that there is no evidence that New Zealand's government agencies were listening in on the consulate. Key added that Snowden is “unscrupulous,” and said that there will always be people who try to spread false propaganda.

What does it even matter? Every country spies on every country pretty much... more or less. It has been happening since the beginning of time. Does it surprise anyone that information is the most valuable commodity in the information age? Snowden just confirmed what everybody already thought. "Countries be spying on each other and their own peoples! ZOMG!"

This is why I say Snowden is a traitor. Leaking documents that show how the US spies on its citizens, hero. Telling how the US spies on other countries, traitors (including the reporters).
