Dancing Ayis on ‘Lock Down’ in Changchun

Property management officers in Changchun have come up with an unusual tactic in the latest chapter of the epic battle that is Dancing Ayis vs The World.

Bike parking locks were installed all over the square of a residential community in Changchun in an effort to deter middle aged women from dancing there; however, the locks seem to have prevented anyone from doing anything there, on top of being an eyesore.

As someone that lives near a park where the old ladies dance, it's just too loud. They are a nuisance and as much as I think it's great exercise they don't care if they're bothering people.

Looks like the beaches of Normandy. Communities should just build dance halls or utilize preexisting spaces for these women to dance. Draconian measures such as this will only spur the Dancing Auntie Revolution and, unlike the Umbrella Revolution, this one won't fail.

I don't get why everyone is against these poor old women that want to dance. You can set off fire works at ungodly hours, honk your horn like a fool, blast your store music into the streets but these old people can't dance without everyone hating them? Communities should just organize them and enforce some sort of regulations. No need to resort to things like this... just a idiotic solution to a problem that could be solved in more civilized ways.
