Cold North and Rainy South of China for the Next Three Days
Apr 21, 2014 By eChinacities.com

Starting on April 21, and lasting for three days, areas north of the Yangtze River can expect colder weather and those south of the river can expect heavy rain.

Chilly onshore winds from the east will bring cold weather to the northern regions, affecting all the Northern provinces. Temperatures are predicted to drop by around 6 degrees Celsius and can be expected to average around 12 degrees. Even Xinjiang in the far west is likely to experience a significant drop in temperature which could even lead to sleet or mild snow.

Areas around the Yangtze and further south are in for a rough few days. Heavy winds, thunderstorms and torrential rain are predicted from tomorrow night until Friday.
