Classical Music Festival to be Held in Beijing on August 6th

The 2011 Beijing Forest Music Festival will be held at the Great Wall Tanglewood Art Zone in Yanqing County on August 6th and 7th. The festival, which focuses on classical music, will feature four concerts by musicians from China and abroad. Famous Chinese tenors Zhang Jianyi and Oscar-winning musician Peter Buffet are among some of the headlining names.

Getting there: take No. 919 bus from Deshengmen, get off at the terminal station, Yanqing Bus Station and transfer to the shuttle bus to Beijing Forest Music Festival.

Or take S2 train from Beijing North Railway Station, get off at Yanqing Railway Station (6 RMB) and then transfer to the shuttle bus to Beijing Forest Music Festival.
